Nancy Fetzer, M.A.,
is a nationally recognized consultant and staff developer. She is a leader
and authority in literacy through proven instructional programs, strategies,
and techniques. Her dynamic workshops include modeled lessons with students
(grades K-8), dynamic hands-on instructional tools, and an infusion of
ideas for best teaching practices.
As a teacher she was awarded Sandcase Special Education Teacher of the
Year, 1991 and Cox Cable Spotlight Teacher, 1992 from El Cajon, California,
She has an extensive background in general and special education including
Reading Recovery, second language learners and at-risk students.
She is a national speaker and author of Nancy Fetzer's Writing Connections,
Nancy Fetzer's Reading Connections, The Word Study Program (Literacy
Connections, 2002), and Alphabet Learning Activities Kit co-authored
with Sandra Rief (Jossy-Bass, 2000). Additionally, she has co-authored
and co-produced two educational videos: Successful Classrooms and
Successful Schools (Educational Resource Specialists, 1999). |
